Arriving in Rio de Janeiro

Rio is one of my favorite places to go on a photo safari.  The way the mountains cause the atmosphere to billow up with clouds from the cool air pushing in from the sea is often spectacular.  This was a single exposure but has that panoramic feel.   I shoot  in the RAW camera format and then work the image using Adobe Camera Raw.  Here, it enabled me to deepen the blue sea, add a touch of pink around the clouds, and add the subtle light green of the ship's deck as a counterpoint to the blue.
